The area is one of the most exclusive of the city center a few minutes from the Spanish Steps and Fontana di Trevi. If you want you can stop by the Antico Caffe Greco- Via dei Condotti- historic caf that has one of the biggest private art exposition open to public. Their specialities are coffee and cappuccino together with delicious sweet and salty croissants.
Close to the Spanish Steps there is an ancient tea room, Babingtons. During the winter and weekends we suggest you to reserve a table if you want to taste special selected teas together with delicious pastries and typical English gourmandises. On the other hand, if it is a beautiful day and you wish to stay outside, Gina, located in Via S. Sebastianello 7/a prepares fantastic picnic baskets that you can enjoy in the magnificent park of Villa Borghese.
If you are looking for a restaurant where you can have the typical roman cooking, we recommend you Tullio in Via San Nicola da Tolentino26, a quite old style restaurant but very famous for his grilled meat and especially for its Fiorentina Steak.
Instead if you prefer a simple but very cosy restaurant we suggest you le Colline Emiliane in Via degli Avignonesi; the specialities of the house are giambonetto with mashed potatoes and tortellini of pumpkin with amaretti; do not forget to book a table in advance.
Finally, if you are tired after a walking day in Rome, we suggest you a relaxing massage in the marvellous Kami SPA (Via degli Avignonesi 12 close to Piazza Barberini).
