This charming villa is among the first built in the village, in the lower part, the least cold and the most easily accessible one.
It is close to the so-called colony, to the Spa and to the bus stop for Cortina and the ski slopes. You can enjoy the best panorama of Mount Pelmo.
The Spa was built a few years ago and has swimming pools overlooking Mount Pelmo, gyms, places for massages, therapeutic courses.
The whole house is about 80 square meters and it is composed of an entrance hall, a lounge, a separate kitchen, two bedrooms: a double one and a bedroom with a single bed and two bunk beds.
There is a bathroom divided in two: one side with shower and sink, and the other one with services.
Finally there is an outdoor parking space and a spacious garden surrounding the house.
During the winter season, the village services clean the access road and the stairs that give access to the house.

A BIT OF HISTORY
The touristic village of Corte (from Cortemaggiore, the fulcrum of Eni’s mining activity) in Borca di Cadore was born by the will of Enrico Mattei, charismatic and volcanic president of Eni (National Hydrocarbons Authority) in the early 1950s.
The passion for the Dolomites joins the genius of the architect Edoardo Gellner who engages in an urban challenge in an area to be redeveloped. The particularly ambitious project, which took shape in the mid-1950s, included single villas grouped in small agglomerations, a church, a children’s colony, a small campsite with wooden huts, a hotel, a forefront ‘service center’ for the time with all the community services and technological equipment.
260 villas have been built, grouped in four areas, separated by strips of wood and reached by specific roads. The houses all respect a specific type, conceptually very innovative for the time, minimalist and ecological one would say today, above all for the integration with the restored environment with large plantations of tall trees, in the shade of which the building impact practically disappears.
The church called Nostra Signora del Cadore, is a jewel of contemporary sacred architecture which for scholars and enthusiasts alone deserves a trip to Cadore.
